3 March 2017, at the IFLR (International Financial Law Review) Asia Awards 2017 last night, King & Wood Mallesons (KWM) was reelected Regional Firm of the Year for the second consecutive year. KWM was also awarded Equity Deal of the Year: Postal Savings Bank of China HK IPO and Structured Finance and Securitisation Deal of the Year: Bank of China green covered notes for its innovative legal solutions provided in the landmark transactions. Led by partners Zhou Ning, Liu Sijia and Su Zheng, KWM advised the underwriters on Postal Savings Bank of China’s IPO in Hong Kong. Acting as the trustees’ legal counsel, KWM’s Hong Kong partner Richard Mazzochi and PRC partners Jack Wang and Maggie Luan led their teams advising on Bank of China green covered notes.
