2016年11月7日，金杜律师事务所作为深圳欧菲光科技股份有限公司（股票代码：002456）（简称“欧菲光”）的中国法律顾问，协助其与索尼（中国）有限公司（简称“索尼中国”）就欧菲光收购索尼电子华南有限公司（简称“索尼华南”）100%股权项目正式签署协议。欧菲光将斥资2.34亿美元收购索尼华南100%股权。此次收购还有待于相关政府审批的通过以最终完成交割。
On 7 November 2016, advised by King & Wood Mallesons (KWM), Shenzhen O-film Tech Co., Ltd (O-film, SZSE: 002456) signed an equity transfer agreement with Sony (China) Ltd. (Sony China) to acquire 100% equity interest in Sony Electronics Huanan Co., Ltd. (SEH) for approximately USD 234 million. The completion of the acquisition is still subject to government approval procedures.
索尼华南系索尼中国全资子公司，具有微型摄像头模组研发和生产的先进技术及经验。欧菲光是一家深圳证券交易所上市公司，在包括微型摄像头模组业务在内的多个领域具有领先地位。通过本次收购，欧菲光将能够利用索尼华南的技术和经验，结合自身在微型摄像头模组业务的优势，进一步提升其在该领域的核心竞争力。
SEH, a wholly owned subsidiary of Sony China, has leading expertise and practice in developing and manufacturing micro-camera modules. O-film, a company listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange, is a recognized leader in various businesses including micro-camera modules. Leveraging SEH’s technology and experience, O-film will be able to sharpen its competitive edge further in this business area.
