亚投行自2015年12月25日创办以来，批准了9个融资项目，发放贷款总额约17亿美元。未来亚投行还将继续扩大运营规模，提高贷款额度。
为了确保资金能够真正用于指定用途，亚投行严厉打击资金使用中的腐败及其他不当行为。在不当行为的界定、调查及制裁手段等方面，亚投行采用了与世界银行相同或近似的反腐政策，并积极参与世界银行等5家国际金融机构的联合制裁行动。

2 May 2017, acting as counsel for All-Stars Investment, King & Wood Mallesons (“KWM”) facilitated the series B round of financing for Logistics QQ Truck Alliance (“Truck Alliance”), raising more than US$270 million of new capital. This is the largest round of funding thus far amongst online long-haul logistics platform start-ups in China. International Finance Corp (“IFC”) and All-Stars Investment Ltd co-led the financing, and several new heavyweight institutions and existing investors also jumped on the bandwagon to invest new cash. Truck Alliance’s valuation now exceeds US$ 1 billion and joins the ranks of “unicorn” companies in China.

On 20 April 2017, CITIC Securities Co., Ltd. (CITIC Securities), advised by King & Wood Mallesons, successfully updated its $3 billion medium-term notes (MTN) programme and the drawdown thereunder. The notes are issued by CITIC Securities Finance MTN Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of CITIC Securities, and guaranteed by CITIC Securities.

King & Wood Mallesons (KWM) acted for SkyCo International Financial Leasing Co. Ltd. (SkyCo), a rapidly growing Chinese leasing company partly owned by the Guangdong Airport Group, on the inaugural transaction by its Irish aircraft leasing platform. In conjunction with its offshore set-up, the transaction involved the acquisition of a portfolio of aircraft with leases attached to an Indonesian airline.
